The Respiratory Care Equipment Technician serves as a member of the Respiratory Therapy Team. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area. Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that equipment, such as life support/mechanical ventilators etc. are decontaminated, processed, re-assembled, calibrated and operationally checked according to manufacturer specifications.
• Delivers, monitors, maintains and safeguards medical grade gases throughout the facility, including cylinders of various sizes and liquid oxygen systems.
• Performs adjustments and repairs on selected equipment in consultation with the Biomedical Department.
• Ensures that equipment and supplies are accessible, in good condition and of sufficient quantity to meet patient care needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
